ASSIGNMENT 3 :
[RE-THINK] PLACEMAKING DESIGN
We are required to design and build the interior from the given site; Treehouses, Tamarind Square. Design conceptual & space programming are requisite to inherit from Project 02 keywords as approach and subject matter. Execution must be shown in detail design process & programming via various mediums of art creatively in continuous of drawings, 3D digital modelling, photography, experimentation, narration and in-depth research of the selected idea title.
UNDER THE MICROSCOPE
When discussing living matter, we often think of humans and animals, but plant cells are rarely considered due to their small size and lack of visible movement or sound. However, cells are diverse and the fundamental unit of living matter. "UNDER THE MICROSCOPE" aims to showcase the entire process of a plant cell through sound and visuals, allowing people to experience its birth to death and understand its functions. This interdisciplinary work blurs the lines between art and science, offering visitors a new way of acquiring knowledge through visualization. Visitors can explore the oversize cells, actively participating and creating their own experience. Workshops provide opportunities to observe and experience cells like scientists.
