SEM 6 :
NARRATIVE

Begin a journey of discovery within a chosen location or site, by fully immersing in a scenario that acts as the primary narrative for the project. Participate in the speculative process and uncover the narrative within the selected theme, initiating the development of a series of scenarios that fits into context.

PHASE 01:
DESIGN RATIONALE

In this project, multiple spatial explorations will be conducted within selected areas of the site to elaborate on the design expression. While some proposals may be hypothetical, they must demonstrate thoughtful resolutions to the design challenges, with clear intentions and objectives that showcase an appropriate design theme, logical structural systems, and the expression of spatial relationships.

PHASE 2:
SCULPTING SPACES

This stage will focus on developing and sculpting the spaces, digitally. Students will gothroughseries of 3D exploration addressing the central design idea in Phase 1 and the spatial proposal
should reflect the intention. Layout plans of the projects are expected to be developedinthisstage to start preparing for the Technical Drawing Set by next phase.

PHASE 3:
TECTONICS APPRECIATION & CREATIVE PRODUCTION

We will select a portion of their design to elaborate on, focusing on technology appreciation, material exploration, and bespoke drawings to express their design intentions. Additionally, they must produce technical drawings that align with industry standards, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of design resolution.

PHASE 04:
DESIGN SHOWCASE

By this phase, all design production and outcome has been completed, submitted and is no longer at the development stage. Students will also start to compile the works into a reflective design folios which will be accessible to member of the design jury to understand the context of the project.
